Throttle Cable
« on: January 27, 2008, 06:01:47 pm »
I've got a 87 GMC 2WD long bed with a 305.  When I step on the gas pedal it takes some muscle to get it up to speed and keep it there.  It almost feels like the cable is not moving freely.  Should I even bother lubing it up vs. buying a new one?
Thanks a bunch.

Deja vu...

Take the cable off of the carburetor and see if it's still stiff.
