Good luck on the build. The other truck I have we sectioned the frame and extended it I personally have been really considering shortening it back to normal just so I could use it on a daily basis its just not practical to use everyday dad bought it new in 88' and it don't even have a 100,000 miles on it so it would be nice just to drive.

It's weird, sometimes it does look like a shortbed from the right angle.
I know what you mean. I guess I never paid that close attention before, but I just said to myself as I was reading through this page, "Oh, Vile's '74 is a long bed?!?"

I have it at home - I'll post it tonight. It's a really good, detailed book on how to do Auto interior. Which materials to use, how to customize etc..... From doing dash's, door panels, headliner, seats....... Easy to use instructions and a source page.

Man, to tell you the truth, I like that color blue on older trucks. But that black you got on there looks MEAN. I think I'm gonna paint mine primer jet black for now and spray on WW2 plane markings like the U.S. Star and some nose art.
Anyways, how much was your hood? $300-$400?
You can also see how it kinda looks like a SWB from that angle.

Well I'm back to working on the inside of the truck. Today I got a snow day off from work
so I decided to rebuild and repaint the steering column. I also ripped out the gauges and dash. I'm going to repaint everything and install the digital gauges my ex girlfriend bought me.
