I've been hanging around here looking and reading about everybody's projects, I've decided to get started on mine. I going to freshen up the 5.7TBI out of my 91 crewcab and transplant it into this 84', lots of body work, can't decide which front end to put on yet, either the single headlamp crewcab, or I have a quadlight clip off of a 91 crewcab, any opinions. I have a procomp 3" lift that I'll probably use,not sure yet on that, but thats a ways down the road...
Here is how I got it.....
1984 K10 5.0L 700R4 NP208 and a pair of 10bolt axles.
and an extra crispy 305
here is the crewcab donor with the single headlight frontend..

I personally would keep the frontend on there.

Yep, keep the top and bottom 4 light system. If you absolutely must swap it, put the side by side quad light setup on it.
Thats an interesting color scheme..My '84 GMC was originally the same colors, but the roof was brown instead of tan.."Indian bronze metallic" and "mohogany custard"..You can get the bronze, but its called dark brown metallic at most supply stores..I never could find a place that had anything really close to the mohogany custard..
