well i got a 73-74 switch and it fits the holes i was talking about so my cab is a 73 or 74




1980 1/2 ton shortbed project...
1978 pontiac grand prix...

well since my cab is a 73-74 i can get a dash does anybody know if any other dash bezels fit these years like i know 78 does not fit

I think 1973-1975 will fit.  I wrote this down a long time ago, but....

why won't a 78 bezel fit? you can make a 73-80 fit. I know the wiper switch changed a little bit  but aside from that they should be interchangeable.

well the metal on my dash has been bent and cut so that might have something to do with it but i have not tryed to put my bezel back on yet

The 78 should 'fit', its just some of the holes may different...

well it does fit but not snug see the gaps in between the bezel and the lens and the gap on the wiper switch could the dash pad have anything to do with it

The bezel doen't necessarily fit snug to the lense.  It looks fine to me.  The dash pad needs to come down though...

that is what meant bye it would not fit i tryed to push it down but it would not go i made sure that the clips on the dash pad sliped in the dash but did not help

ok i tryed to put my dash bezel back on it will fit but the wiper hole is out of line with it. its been that way would the gauge cluster have anything to do with it

Cluster has nothing to do with the bezel, all bezels have the same mounting posistion.  The only thing that would be different is the location of the wiper switch and the headlight location.
