Welcome to the madness!!

I enjoy restoring old tractors also.  I started with a small 1967 IH Cub Cadet 127 then moved to a Cub Low boy.  Looking to get my hands on a Ford 9N - always wanted one.

Welcome to the site! I also restored a 9n, a '53 Golden Jubilee. My uncle bought it & dropped it off & said: "Somebody tried to make it look newer & painted it Blue & White, Think we can make it the right colors?" Well down to the bare engine/trans/rear it went. A few months of weekends, ect. We had a real nice (show quality to many) tractor. By the end I had shamed him into new gauges, steering wheel, sticker kit, all new tires, lights, switches, rubber kit, ect. ect. & probably 3 times what he thought it was going to cost. He ended up not using it much, he keeps it cleaned up & just uses it to cut the grass in his back yard, ect. It was a good experience. Lorne

on the tractor side i got a 1946 2N ford and a 1948 case VAI with front loader. had to have a loader to move all my parts around  and the ford with a 5 foot bush hog makes mowing the grass a short job.
