McGauhy's Drop Spindles
« on: April 25, 2008, 04:27:17 am »
Alright I have a 1986 Chevy 4.3 v6, I currently have the 3 inch drop springs from God knows who(I put them on when i was 16) well I'm trying to go back and fix alot of corner cutting. Well I wondering if I could or if anybody had put the McGauhy's 2.5 drop spindles on their truck and ran the stock rims? I measured and the clearance would be super close. I was just wondering if someone had done this. I really like the stock wheels and would like to keep them.

With 3", you are most likely going to have to ground the caliper and possibly modify the control arm.
Where are you getting them from?

It isn't on the store yet, and I don't have my stuff here with me.  I can get you a price tomorrow though, it will be comparable to GMC Pauls.  McGaughys only sell 2.5" spindles though.

I can drop ship a set to you, so them being in stock isn't an issue, if you want me to get you a price with shipping, send me an email with your shipping address with Zip code to webmaster@73-87chevytrucks.com  (otherwise I will forget)
