Looks really good! How do you like those gauges? Do they point too low with those seats installed?

The gauges  sit a little flat , but I am used to it. I have had those seats in and gauges in since the early 90's

Tacked up my exhaust today, it turned out pretty good so far. 4" straight off the turbo through a couple mandrel bends through a small flow through muffler. There will be no restriction there :) I still need to fab the hangers, cut the tip straight down from the step, and eventually powder coat it

I am still having transmission problems, I think we troubleshot it down to the full manual valve body, I installed a pressure gauge and I have good pressure at idle but little to no pressure in drive, so the tranny is back out and to the shop, the plan is to give it a good look over and install my factory valve body with a shift kit. Then I'll send the other valve body back to the vendor for inspection and hopefully replacement, guess I could see if they would upgrade me to a transbrake at the same time :)

It was a hueghes performance, I bought it a few years ago and it sat on the shelf, there probably some corrosion and its got some parts not moving properly.

Yes the gaps still need to be worked , the hood will be coming off for paint along with the bed and fenders, it's been jammed already but that was a few years ago so there are some paint chips that will need addressed as well


My goal is to drive it, dyno it and work the bugs out prior to finish the paint work

Thanks, that's very well possible don't take much to make things stick, just wondered because I used a TCI full manual in my nova and it worked right off, and liked the fact it has engine braking.

Well I have been working out a lot of boost issues thanks to haulinit (Lorne) it's coming along pretty well I am down to tuning the carb and working through some other issues but as soon as I do I will post a vid. I am hoping to get all the bugs worked out before I finish the body and paint this winter but that all depends in the almighty dollar :(
