There is a tool that works in and air hammer, but a nice wide putty knife works well. I like hyde brand putty knifes because because the handles take the hammer hits well. I get the knife started then swat it along behind the molding with my body hammer. As long as you don't bend or distort it it will be fine for reuse. I shave off the glue / tape with a razorblade on the vehicle and the trim.
