My summer daily driver
«

Just figured I would show you guys a pic of my baby.
Before the quicky paint job.
After with my stepdaughters at cruise night. They love missing the bus and having to get a ride to school in it!
I was shooting for more of a satin finish but didn't add enough flatener.
Still rough around the edges, needs some work.
Yes I drive it like I stole it most of the time.

Needs a drivers fender. The one thats on it is a piece of crap older fiberglass one. Been on there for a while as it had the same color on it as the original color of the car. I think it got tagged in the nose as the pasenger fender is from a seefoam green belair. The trim holes had been brazed closed. the black and silver was the first paint job it had ever had. Original was robbins egg blue with a baby blue roof. The lower quarters have been replaced due to rust.
Some day plans are a 427 cranked stroked 409, Have the 409 but needs one cylinder sleaved, with a 6 speed, and a quick changer rearend. A full tube chassis with full cage. 2" front and rear drop. Tubular upper and lower a arms. Either a four link rear or move the leaf springs inboard. Corner carver. Basicly a street legal race car. All black including all the trim. Posibly some purple ghost flames.

Found another pic of it, with my best buddy getting ready to take it for a cruise!
Plus my new rig for this summer. 75 Plymouth Gran fury. Needs some work but its got 69,000 original miles. 360, 727.
I think I am going to ditch the vinyl top, and trim. Put some a pillar spot lights, and the set of Plymouth Police Cruiser rims I have on it. Paint it all black or black and white. I haven't decided on that yet. Plymouth version of Jake, & Elwood's Dodge Monaco.
