What are the emblem paint colors for a '74 GMC C-30?

Front grill: G M C lettering, 4 5 4 numerals

Thanks!

Here's a link to a posting here that you might find interesting.

On my 73 GMC the 350 numerals are black on a silver background. The orange is darker than the Krylon Pumpkin Orange I used on my GMC letters.   In the posting listed above, model paints were used to restore the emblems. I had tried the same thing, but they faded out after several years.

If you find out the exact color for the GMC letters, I'd be interested in knowing.

As jason S said his are black on a silver background.  On my 74 k10 they are yellow on a black background, and I have taken off some from pick-n-pull of 73 - 74 grills that are different colors.
I believe there was no set colors for the emblems, that it depended on your truck colors and data sheet for the truck.

The color combination may be GMC and Chevrolet specific, but that's only speculation.  My '73 GMC has the black numerals on silver background.  My '74 Chevrolet has yellow numerals on a black background, like Bake described...

I had some free time today to spend looking through paint chip books at O'Reilly's...

I took a NOS fender badge to try to match the orange so I could correctly restore the orange on the G-M-C letters on my '73 grille, as well as the hubcaps (and maybe the gauge needles).

An almost perfect match in the DuPont color books was for accessory paint (bumpers, etc) for 1990's GM vehicles. I think I found it in the 1996 color book. Anyways, they call it Hugger Orange.  It was almost a perfect match, the only difference I could tell was in the gloss.  I'll update on the color code numbers for it later.

Here is a photo of the emblem and the GMC orange I used to color match.

The color is a bright orange, almost a safety orange color.
