As long as you get all the wiring and components you will be fine. I assume you mean swap as in you are getting a
complete
truck with everything in it that you want/need?

Abudy of mine did this and he said he would probably never do it again. Not that it can't be done or was dificult. He said it was just a big pain in the rump. He swaped all the options into his custom deluxe cab. swaping the whole cab should'nt be a big deal.

I just swapped cabs on my crew cab and it wasn't that bad.
The hardest part is finding about 7-8 friends to help you pick the thing up. :P

I'm in the process of doing thias now.
I found a nice 2WD Silverado and I had a 1978 running gear so I am making the swap.
Good Luck.

7 or 8?? Where would you all grab to the cab. Four people can get it don easily..I know, just did mine.
tip: you can also bolt up a cherry picker/leveler to the seat bolt holes and do it with two people....done that too.
