Stepside Bed Will Bolt Up To Factory Fleetside Frame Correct?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but i've never done this before.
Stepside and Fleetside both bolt up pretty much the same way to any factory frame right? (having trouble finding a bed so if i can use either one, it should help my chances of finding one or the other).
Thanks

It should bolt up. I have a 74 shortbed stepside that I know a fleetside bed will bolt right to. The frame is exposed right now. If you need any dimensions please ask. More than happy to measure something for you.

Pry the better question is: Is your truck frame a shorty?

There is nothing different in a SWB for mounting a fleetside versus stepside, the same is true of a longbed (long bed stepsides also existed)

Just wondering if the OP knows that steps and fleets came in two sizes. As did truck frames.
