Been a while, but got a new toy for free.
« on: February 21, 2010, 01:14:06 AM »
here is some pics

its a 1974 k20 4spd with a bored over 454. the guy who owns the truck is giving it to us for taking the 454 out and swapping it for the 383 in his other truck. I think we are getting the better deal because the 383 was just rebuilt.  The beast has a 12" lift. Thats my stock Impala next to it.
IT need work, the electrical barely works.

I'll make a deal with you.  I'll fix the electrical on the Impala if you give me the truck.  Nothing like re-gifting you know.  What a deal to get the truck.  How did they make that lift?  I can see some things they added to lift the body off of the axle.  What else did they fabricate?  Good luck with your project.
If you drive North far enough, you will end up going South.  If you drive West, you will always be going West.

Nothing wrong with the Impala. the trucks electrical is jacked up. Only the oil press, water temp and volt meter works, oh and the headlights, nothing else does. I'll try and get some shots of the left today.

Im ashamed at my geography. I had to look up where that was. Looks like a nice little town, historical. I like that. I hate being in the city.
