Spindle comparison: HD vs Std and lower vs Stock

Pictured are a HD dropped spindle and a std stock spindle. Note the HD takes a 1.25" rotor and the std takes a 1" rotor. All 1973-1980 trucks had 1.25" rotors, the 1" rotor was introduced in 1981. They take different calipers and bearings. Measurements are shown for comparison. The drop spindle is 2.5"
