Spacer location?
« on: March 10, 2023, 01:11:37 AM »
Took apart my Dana 44 front axle. The spacer or shim in the middle (see photo), I can't remember where exactly it goes, it could go between the knuckle and spindle? Or after the spindle and before the caliper bracket or after caliper bracket and before the dust ring?

Some direction would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

I think the spacer goes on the back of the spindle between the spindle and the knuckle. Can anyone confirm? I don't see the spacer ring on any Dana 44 diagrams that I could find or see it on any youtube videos.
