I had 2 MA Audio 12's with an amprack all behind my seat and my seat went all the way back its all just in figuring the angles, depths, and required air space. Also sealed boxes always require less space? Another option for you would maybe be 1 12. I have a 12 foot table saw which sure helped with it. Same thing could be done with a circular saw.

I molded a box out of fiberglass that holds a Kicker 12 inch shallow mount, a couple amps and a small storage space.  Check out the write up http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=319401

I have 2 12" Kicker Comps and my seat is just a tad pushed forward. Almost all the way back though. Doesn't hit too bad off of a Boss 800W amp. Got the box from the Flea Market, it's just a run-of-the-mill regular cab box.

or you can do what i did and just port your bed and cab... and from there you can decide if you want to go with 10's or higher....also depending on what seats you have you may be able to fit 6x9's on back corner of cab where theres nothign there ... i mean as far as everythign go's im running 800wts to 2 kicker 10in L7's bridged and they hit hard enouph ...but i mean if you really want slap just go with a bigger amp!

I'm running a 12 behind the seat in a angled box that I bought at your average stereo shop. It turned out really well. Now I just have to get rid of all the rattles.
