Best Street Tires for Traction 79 Turbo LS C10

Hey guys,

I am at the point of trying to select some tires for my build and I am looking for a good street tire that offers traction. I am planning to run 275/40/40 and 315/35/20 on a 4/6 drop and have a few tires selected but I cannot find alot on the truck forums to influence my decision. Any advice or has anyone ran any of these tires?

Nitto NT555 G2 seems to be a fine tire with good handling and performance in all weather. I myself normally get Michelin and I like the Defender LTX M/S. Have some Firestones on it right now, not what I normally use. I like the smaller wheel and more rubber. Of course my truck is a 4x4.

Thanks for the reply Mike! Nitto does seem to be the popular choice for street performance tires on the C10s, however I have read that the G2's dont have the best traction in the rain. Price wise, they are actually not the most expensive.
