angle plug headers nowadays?
« on: March 21, 2015, 06:22:13 AM »
i am building a solid roller 383 for my mud truck and am running a set of RHS angle plug heads.  I need a hand finding headers that will work on this beast including fenderwell if need be but I cant run updrafts in stock class.  I did use the search option but all posts seem to be older so was wondering if there is any new options out there?

I was not the happiest with my motor builder going with angle plug heads during my install.  Upon heavy researching and phone calling around, I found Headman Elite coated Header 69890.  I STILL had to dimple a header for 1 plug (grrrrrr)  HAD to go with the Accel short plugs also, and STILL fight plug install.  AND plug wires are TIGHT, even after modifying the new wire holders.  Basically these angle plug heads created me a LOT more work and headache that I didn't expect and/or budget for.

Attached picture was during some assembly, so there are/were not quite final yet.  But these were good visual side pictures.
