If you can find a crank and stroke it to 327 that should do it, somebody should have one somewhere you can get your hands on.  A bit more labor intensive than a bolt on but it will make a difference.

Deep xtra capacity oil pan with windage tray.

More ideas later.

Possibly the cheapest way not under $100 would be a 6-71 supercharger.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it, 305 haters.

More on this later, also.

Car Craft I believe it was did an article on a lame 165 HP 84 Camaro 305 and with just bolt ons they got 325 HP out of it. That was with a cam and head change though. The article is on the net somewhere.

Without pulling it apart or updating parts there is nothing you can do that would warrant the cost.

Go with a full exhaust (since you'll use it on any future 350's), give her a good tune up, dial in as much ignition advance as she'll take, and start saving up for a 350.

I had an 82 a few years ago, 305 motor...the only thing we did to it was a crane cam 100052 might have the part number wrong but its the energizer with .454" lift.274 duration I think.
It ran awesome, the first time I ran it hard I broke the trans bell housing ear to ear...so I call B.S. on anyone who says a 305 can't run...I finally spun a bearing racing a 350z...won the race...blew the motor...well worth it!!
BTW...factory intake exhaust heads etc...edel 1406 carb

Oh yea I took the esc distributor out and replaced it with a regular one and removed the advance weights and springs...
