So you got it all sorted out? What was the answer?

well according to them i use the 5.3 flex plate and have to alongate the holes in it to use there spacer and my stock convertor. and i have to just eyeball it and get it close to the same gap as the convertor wont actually touch the flexplate. sounds kinda sketchy so im gonna look into other options.

That had me all messed up too when I did my first setup. I had a GM spacer, stock 6.0L flexplate, and a regular TH350 converter. The spacer ended up being too long and the converter wouldn't turn...I never got around to checking the TC to flexplate clearance(at the bolt). I yanked it out and started over with no spacer, just a stock 6.0 flexplate and a different TH350 converter with an extended snout welded on. There's pictures of it in the for sale section.
EDIT: Theres one picture of it in the for sale section. Here's a better shot.

Maybe this will work for you. Then you just have to use spacers to get the pump engagement correct.
