Title: Flip kit ?

So I here more and more about the flip kit.I just want to know much it actually drops it,and do you have to notch the frame?

It will lower the rear of your truck the thickness of your axle+leaf pack.  I didn't have to use a c notch on mine but you may have to depending on the clearance...

If your rear springs still have a good arch you can get away without the C-notch.

I cut the factory bumpstop and bracket off, and bought a bumpstop that was like 3/4 of an inch and put it directly on the frame just in case it does hit.....

My flip kit came with one.  I'm sure they are only a couple of bucks...

Expect about 5-7" of drop with a flip.

When I had 3 leafs the flip lowered it almost 8" and when I added 2 leafs back it raised the rear up 3", I used a beltec flip kit with c-notch
