Hi so I had posted about a core support panel earlier. The panel bolt to the core support and goes back toward th motor. In any case I posted a picture from , and it stated that the panel was for trucks with automatics. My build is a 78 K20 350 4 spd. The question I asked was if this panel would be sufficient in my truck. I got 1 reply and the post vanished? Can anyone 1 let me know if I can use that panel, 2 why the post disappeared?
Thanks
Attached is the picture of the panel I speak of.

Your picture was removed due to being a screenshot of a company that's not allowed to be mentioned on this site due to a few reasons one being g they're competition for the owner of this site. He sells a lot of stuff that pays for this form to run.

That, and said company was given an offer to advertise on here and refused.

Automatic/manual it doesn't matter the plate for the radiator is specific to the radiator. The cooler for the automatic transmission is in the passenger side tank and is not used if you have a manual. If you have a factory manual truck the original radiator won't have the cooler. However, I don't know of too many replacement radiators that do not have the cooler. You just simply ignore the cooler connections for your 4-sp truck. When I build a 73~87 I look for a 4-core radiator and use the corresponding plate. (This most likely will be the automatic application) The bigger problem is if your 73~80 came with a 6 cylinder engine it is likely to have the 17" core radiator and the 19" core radiator won't work because the nutserts won't be on the top of the radiator support to use the 19" radiator plate.
