Detailing Section
« on: February 02, 2009, 02:08:19 pm »
Just thought it would be be nice to have a section dedicated to cleaning and detailing of our trucks... not so much bodywork and repair but cleaning, waxing, polishing, compounding, also interior care... fabric cleaning, dash maintenace etc...

a previous forum I was on (Grand AM Owners Club) started a section n this and it was wildly popular.. I know, I was an moderator on that section lol

I put yes, it sounds good, it's not like it would clutter things up or something, and the washing and wax stuff would get lost in the body section.  Besides with all these nice trucks around, I'm sure everybody spends a bit of time and effort solely to maintaining the shine, keeping the lovebugs at bay, etc.

Never hurts to learn tips and tricks or if someone tries a new product to tell us what they think.

I voted yes.

I have never washed or waxed any of my cars I am embarrassed to say (or should be :) ) only car washes my cars get is when it rains or when our Boy Scout Troop has a car wash (they better have one soon its been almost a year)

I went one time to one of the high school cheerleaders car wash with a muddy as heck truck.  One of the dads there just told me to keep right on driving. ;D
