master cylinder rebuild kit
« on: April 29, 2009, 12:10:51 pm »
hi guys!
i have a Reybestos master cylinder rebuild kit (precisly: Raybestos MK1737), but i have a doubt about the 3 seals inside the package.
2 of them are similar, the other one is different but before keep out master cylinder, i'd like to know where i must to install them.

i don't know if i must use them to replace old seals on the secondary piston or i must install them between reservoir assembly and master cylinder.

surely i could remove master cylinder and check out the correct position, but maybe it's better to know before  ???

someone can help me please?
thanks
Fabio

Never had much luck with rebuilt, even the store bought ones. I got a rebuilt one from a chain store with lifetime warranty, lasted 3 months, replace it and it lasted 2 months. Bought a new one from NAPA and it lasted 15 years.
