HRE Wheels on a square body?
« on: April 30, 2009, 07:17:30 am »
Anybody ever look into, heard of, or have pictures of a 73-87 pickup with a set of HRE wheels?  They've got some nice styles, pricey - but you get what you pay for with the forged, 3-piece, strong and light design.

Probably would look better on a BMW M3 than a Chevy C10.  No, I've never seen 'em on one of our trucks.

I've never seen them on our trucks either. I looked into them when I had my 96 Collectors Edition Vette(LT4). Depending on the style of the wheel and the stance of the truck it might not look bad.

That's what I was thinking.  The mesh style is definitely more a Euro-tuner look, but with the right stance, paint, etc. it might not look bad at all.  They also offer simple flat 5/6 spoke designs that resemble the popular Bonspeed, Intro, etc. wheels that many guys are using on these lowered.
