Is there really any difference between glass channel runs 73-80 or 81-87?

I'm putting new doors on my '77 cab that have power windows and locks.  I purchased both of the donor doors off Craigslist, but I'm not sure what year they came from.  Tonight I went to order new door glass runs and they show different ones for different years. The two piece model goes on a 73-80 door and the one piece is for the 81-87.  One of my donor doors has a two piece glass run in it.  The other donor has no glass or glass run.  Would the one piece model for the 81-87 fit in it without presenting a problem?
