vin number question
« on: August 19, 2009, 11:32:34 am »
first post here great site
I tried to get parts for my truck and when I gave them my vin they said it was a suburban.  I checked it at chucks chevy page and it appered to be what I have.  Why would it come up as a suburban in there computer?  I also went to a dealer and they told me the same thing.  I am not 100% sure he even looked it up may have agreed with me and said it was a suburban because he could not find it. any info would be great . thanks  the vin is 2gchk34w9e1182693

thanks I was not sure why they come up with that maybe a typo or something.  was worried vin numbers were swapped or truck was pieced together.  It matches everything with the vin.
