Cool thanks man! Thats what I needed to clear up. Thanks for being specific to the pics that I posted. Yeah if you want to snap a few shots from different angles that would help. I am eliminating my air pump and most of my emissions junk. so it would be double useful to see your setup

Well sorry it took me so long to reply, my memory isn't what it used to be.  And my digi cam is on the fritz so I was unable to snap new pics but I dug these up from my "305 removal" folder.  These are all you need to worry with for the alternator if you are eliminating your air pump.  Also, in the first pic, notice the the small bracket under the front two intake manifold bolts on the driver side of the engine.  That bolts to the "main" AC bracket.  If you have any specific questions on what goes where, just ask.
