Temp Gauge removal
« on: August 31, 2009, 08:42:57 am »
Hi all,

I just bought my truck a couple of weeks ago.  It has some sunpro gauges that im trying to relocate.  I have gotten all of them out except the temp gauge.  It looks like it should just pull apart after i loosen the bolt on the back of the gauge but it doesnt.  any tips to get the line connected to the back out?

I am not understanding where the gauge is or where you want it to go, or how it is mounted.  Can you post a picture?

i posted that i got it fixed, it didnt show up though.  I thought that i could remove the input line in the back of the gauge... but ya cant.  I had to take the line out of the block and snake it out.  I moved all the gauges that the previous owner had installed on the bottom of the dash where i couldnt see them while driving to where all the dummy lights are installed in the cluster area.  Looks good and is much easier to see while driving.  Only issue im having now is the volts gauge isnt working, I think I installed it wrong.

Do you know what the WDO area is on the fuse box?  It seems to be hot when the accessory on the key is on.  Maybe power window?
