cutting off bumpstops

I'm about to fire up the bluewrench and cut off the front bumpstops. as mentioned earlier, i have cut 1 coil off my springs. do i need to cut the bumpstops off or will they be alright left on?

I wouldn't worry about the bumpstops with just 1 coil removed.
