Fiberglass rear step side fenders?
« on: September 28, 2009, 09:27:47 pm »
Any one know where to find them?  When I bought my truck it had one fiberglass and one steel one it.  The fiberglass is smooth on both sides and very thick and heavy. I have done some searching with no luck.

No nothing on the inside, but it had been on the truck for years before I got it.

Are all fiberglass products super fragile?  I was helping a neighbor install his fiberglass bumper and I bumped it against the fender(not very hard) and it cracked/ripped very badly.  Good thing he does fiberglass work, he's not gonna charge me for it.  Is that what I can expect if I go to fiberglass panels on my truck?

Depends on the type of type of fiberglass.  Race weight is thin and fragile to save on weight.
