i know you guys probably wont like it or think it was stupid of me but i put some of those dual fake hood scoops on my truck. i was wondering how well will bondo adhere to plastic, because i want to smooth out the edges of the scoops to try and make them look like part of the hood.

I don't think the bondo will stick, maybe one of the fiberglass based fillers?  I really don't know.  What I do know is the cheap bondo "spreaders" that you can buy are plastic, just bend them and the bondo pops off.

ya but those are kind of a glossy plastic, i didnt paint my scoops and theyre not glossy

Still think it needs a visor. :D

If it were me, I don't think I'd do anything.  If you get tired of the "scoops" you could pull them back off later (or the next owner, should you decide to sell).
I'd be more worried about the bondo cracking down the road.  To me, that would look worse than leaving it.

ya thats what i was affraid of too...i dont know about you but i think they look good on my truck, i think they kind of complement how i have the grille painted

Scoops, meh.  Personally I'm not a big fan, but then again I don't want Flowmasters or a lift kit on my 4x4  ;D.

All you have to do is call them maybe they can recommend something.  I know the SEM  Flexible Weld stuff for modern urethane bumpers is easy to sand and stays as flexible as heck (great for repairing or shaving bumpers). I don't know if it would stick to the metal though. http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/sem39927.html

Also try a google search for "molding on a body kit"  the import/tuner car world molds their stuff on all the time.

A lot of those tuner cars have plastic parts already though so it is plastic to plastic instead of steel.

I was thinking more along the lines of the lower rockers and rear quarters where these cars are steel.
