Hydraulic Clutch Swap
« on: October 30, 2009, 09:10:04 am »
Mornin All,
I finally got my 74 operational again last night and realized just how much the linkage clutch sucks 6 months post knee surgery. I love the SM465 thats in the truck but I can't deal with linkage, so I want to swap it over to hydraulic. Does anyone know if the pedal assembly and bell housing are still available through a dealership? I called Kiesler this morning and the guy I talked to said that their bearing would only work with the TKO's they sell. Funny huh?

Also, if anyone has pulled this swap off, some pics would be uber helpful.

Thanks,
Donnie

Popular swap read about on other sites. I'd try the boneyard for the parts.

85 on up uses the hydraulic setup.  Should be a fairly easy swap.
