I was reassembling the tailgate on my 86 Blazer over the weekend and managed to break the rod that connects the tailgate handle to the release mechanism. I checked the local yards and nobody seems to have a blazer or burban with tailgate still intact. All the parts houses seem to carry the rods that run from the mechanism to the latches but not one from the handle to the mechanism.
Any ideas on where I can source one?
