Interior Lights
« on: November 17, 2009, 11:19:56 am »
Ive finally gotten my one of my interior lights to work, but now i need help on the ceiling light. The 2 wires that come down the pillar are white and orange, i hooked the white one into the other ones from the door switches and the dash switch, but i don't know where to put the orange one. I tried touching it against a power wire, but it sparks and gets hot fast, im thinking i have a dead short somewhere, unless it is supposed to be plugged into somewhere else.

any info would be great, i really want to be able to have it all working finally.
thanks
morgan

ok so by that diagram, the orange wire in working with is 40b, and it goes into the light switch also? or can i plug it into a spare spot on the fuse panel? im not sure if there is a difference, unless the switch sends power only under a certain circumstance.
