What starter are you running the ls motors or the old one?
and did you buy a conversion flywheel or did you use the hughes spacer? if you used the spacer was there any install isuues?

I used my stock 5.3L starter on my 6.0L motor and stock 6.0L flexplate. I bought the spacer, but the converter I used didn't need a spacer so I just ran without it.

let me rephrase this. who here is running the spacer and stock flywheel and stock convertor. or at least style replacement. nothing custom made to fit on a ls flexplate.
