dana 44 vs dana60

how can  tell if i gaot a dana 60............. i got a truck for free , the body was gone.....i kept the drivetrain. It has a corp 14 bolt rear....but im not sure of the front axle. it was a '76 3/4 ton 400 4spd/205.
 
help!

dana 60's only came in 1 ton truck.    an easy way to tell is the u-bolts on the passenger side.    a D44 will have 2 u-bolts,  while a d60 will have 1 u-bolt and 2 regular bolts.  (outer is a u-bolt, inner is the 2 bolts that go directly into the pumpkin)

Ditto, a 76 3/4T will have a D44.
