Are you running a return line back to the pump?

ive got a return line back to the tank. i checked the vacum it has vaccuum. with a gauge right after the fuel pump the pressure flucuates so i dont think that pump is going to work. im gouing to get a tank out of another truck tonight when i get home and eliminate that. have to start there. plus i have rubber 3/8s fuel line run all the way, could it be collapsing the line?

You want high pressure hoses.  The pressure needs to be pretty constant and roughly 12-13lbs.
