cant get the door panel off
« on: February 20, 2010, 10:40:07 am »
I looked up the short how to and read that the window has to be all the way down. I started on the passenger side and it will only go 1/4 of the way down. I have everything but the top portion off, I'm guessing where the metal clips are. I can see the clips but how do I get them to release or remove them? Is it possible without the window being down? If not, where do i need to look to fix the window problem? It's an 85 w/ power locks, power windows. The previous owner put some ugly 6x9's near the kick panels but in the door and im sure he jacked something up!!!

WHAT I DO IS TAKE THE PALM OF MY HAND AND SMACK UP NEAR THE TOP OF THE PANEL THAT DOES IT FOR ME. IF THAT'S THE RIGHT WAY IDK BUT IT WORKS FOR ME
