picked this one up the other day

78 big 10 silverado

all original except the stock rebuilt 350. cold R12 air... needs some interior TLC, body patch panels, paint and tires... among other things. runs good though. i like the green... trouble is, original green interior is hard to come by. I don't think they reproduce it.

theres a reason its rare.   its ugly.  heres mine and i have a perfect redone green seat too but i covered it with that cover to keep it nice.  sage green carpet and its a darker green than the door panels.  heres a pic kind of

Mileage is either 1 or 219,000... only five digits so who knows...   needs some front end work, ball joints, possibly bearings, rotors... i am slowly feeling out what it needs...  it does look great from a few feet away but it's rusted through in the areas directly behind the tires all the way around.. needs new inner fenders too.. but overall, not too bad for an indiana truck.

For the interior, I need to find seat belts with the metal buckle and snap on covers, door trim inserts and pull handles, needs a new headliner and the carpeting has two holes. Seat is original, not torn in any place.

oh, and to mrboyy i don't think green is ugly! HAHA   it's beautiful, that's over half the reason i bought the truck. I like green. If you want to give yours away to someone who appreciates it, i'll take it! :-) Thanks for sharing your photo

I have this one for  a daily driver as well, i just got a linex liner in it.

Well I live in Nashville, TN and I found it here. The guy I bought it from moved to the Nashville area from Indiana just a couple of years ago. He bought it used in 1980 or 82 (can't remember) so it spent most of its life in Indiana, so that's why I say. I'm not exactly sure where he lived.
