82 Duramax Conversion

I thought you all might appreciat what this gentlemen has going on... Short blurb about it... 05 truck donor with duramax/allison/263 transfer case.  He's putting EVERYTHING from the 05 in the square body.  ABS, the HVAC SYSTEM (like all the stuff behind the dash, the controls, etc. are from the 05), powertrain, etc.  He has molded the 05 gauge cluster into the old dash, is using the 05 steering column/wheel/etc.

He is building it a street/show truck.  The quality and attention to detail is phenominal IMO.  Paint is impecable.  Frame is painted, engine detailed, allison and transfer case painted, etc.  It's top notch as far as builds go.

Here's a link to his website documenting most of the progress, the dash isn't on there though:  http://www.lonniesperformance.com/82chevyduramax.htm

Here is the dash though.  I'm wanting to try and do something similar in mine though his skill level is FAR beyond mine.  That's his job - hotrod builder.
