'86 C-30 The Next Project

Here is a couple shots of my next project.  I'll be starting on it once I have my 86 k20 painted.

Its a 1986 C-30 Scottsdale Cab Chassis.  Bought new by my "Grandfather-in law" and fitted with a Shankle dump body.  It runs off of the PTO.  Its a 3 speed manual with the low gear.  Engine is a 454 big block.  The only options are tilt wheel and AC.  I bought it in 1999 and it had very little rust if any.  I hung a plow on it and pushed snow for about 4 years.  The problem is that it wasn't driven too much between plowing and the salt really ate up the floors, the driver side is gone now.

Believe it or not the truck has 37k original miles.  It had 24k when I bought it.  The engine runs like a top and has NEVER not started.  I installed new HD front springs on it a couple years ago.  The rear leafs are rated at 12k lbs I was told.
