new 77 gmc stepside

my dad just bought a 77 gmc stepside 2wd today....its got a 267? i think the guy said,auto, rally rims, body has no rust except for the inner fenders, it needs new wood in the bed, and some interior work, were gonna put some wide tires on it because the tires that are on it now are too small and look really dumb, i think that it has a cab from an 82-87 gmc/chevy because it has that style dash, but on the other hand the dimmer switch is on the floor, so im not sure...ill get pics on here within the next couple of days so you guys can tell me what you think of it...he paid $3000 for it(i dont think it was worth that much)
