These actually work. I have some similar in my shed that I used http://molechasersinternational.com/
Thanks Vile. I'm hoping the traps will solve my problem. But if not I may give these a shot. I already tried a little windmill that was supposed to do the same thing. It worked for a few days but then I guess the gopher(s) became desensitized to it and came back. So I don't know...

Take some plaster of paris, mix it in with some tasty feed (do some research to see what your varmint eats) and put it down the holes so they can feed on it.

They cannot process the plaster of paris and it plugs up their intestines. We do this in our chicken barns to reduce the mice and it works wonders. They are used to the chicken feed so that is what we use.

since we are throwing ideas out, here's one for ya.  take a water hose and filler the hole up with water.  Take an old extension cord and strip the female end off to two bare stripped wires.  Ok, you know where I'm going with this.  Plug it in at the right time, but stay clear of the water.  You may have to flip your breaker afterwards.   ;D    Don't try this at home!  It's a joke and will most likely get the person electrocuted.

Hahaha... that's good stuff. Before I got to the joke part I was thinking, "wow this dude is seriously crazy."

Success! I put out two traps and got at least one kill. I say at least because I think I got two but I lost the second trap. I think the gopher may have tried to get away and dragged it further into the tunnel. So I'm a little bumbed that I lost a trap but I'm very happy that it actually worked, and worked quickly. I put them out yesterday and had the kill this morning!

Got that freaking gopher from caddyshack.

I can't believe they sell a kit that you just hook a hose up to your car exhaust lol. That has about to be banned written all over it. My dog used to kill gophers. Then they bit him on the face and he stopped.

Yep... I've caught 3 gophers so far and went two days without any new mounds. This morning I noticed a small mound and set out the trap again... that's ok with me though because I'm making progress. My wife says I'm hoping there are new mounds because I love the hunt. :)

That would be funny if this developed into a hunting hobby for you lol. Like because you liked hunting gophers, you moved on up to deer. And squirrels.
