Lower Control Arm Removal
« on: June 14, 2010, 12:03:02 am »
I have been struggling with the removal of my lower control arms on a  GMC C1500 to put in new bushings. The one bolt seems to be seized in the control arm bushing. Any ideas on how to remove this? I have tried oil and heating it, but it still won't budge.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

Greg

try using a pickel fork and get behind the bolt and an impact hammer and pry it out
