spark plug orientation
« on: July 03, 2010, 04:28:20 pm »
i was wiring a tach into my 76 k25 and i took the distributor cap off to make it a little easier. i marked all the plug wires but i never noticed that my markings wore off until i went to put them on. i looked in my haynes manual and hooked it up the way it showed but its way off. its a 350 but its not original and i have no idea what year or where it came from. anyone have any ideas of how to figure out the proper wire orientation?

I can't add anything this pic won't add.  hopefully its better than the one you already had.  All Chevy small blocks have this firing order.  if you have the coil in cap, this diagram is for you, if you have an older points style cap the dist cap will be rotated until the 1 is in the 8 spot in this pic, then go from there
