TH350 cooler lines
« on: August 17, 2010, 12:40:47 pm »
Which is the cooler supply and return on the TH350? I thought the upper was the feed line to the rad cooler and the bottom was the return. I just read that on the TH400, the bottom is the feed to the cooler and the upper is the return. Can someone confirm this for me so I can double-check that my aux. tranny cooler is plumbed in correctly?  Thanks.

remove one of the lines and place it in a jar.   Turn the motor on and put her in drive for a split second.  Turn off engine.  That'll tell ya.
I had to do this when putting in my aux cooler, but, it was a few years ago...I think the top is the return to trans.

Thanks Andy. I found out that the top is indeed the return line. I better check my configuration  lol  The aux. cooler will work better for my application being downstream of the rad cooler.
