An question for the experts
« on: June 28, 2010, 11:44:35 am »
I just got another one a while back its an 87 GMC k3500 with a 350 and a sm465 and it is the first 4x4. I have ever gotten, it needs a T/O bearing and it came with a plow, $650. This kind of inspired a future project that I thought up. I would like to get my hands on this a 73-79 k20 Stepside silverado or cheyenne super with A/C, pwr windows, pwr locks and a 4speed sm465 and manually locking hubs. my question is this even possible to find a 3/4 ton stepside or only 1/2 ton. Also am I going to find a stepside with a stick and a high trim option. I dont really care about the engine or color, but it HAS to be a high trim, PW, PL, and air,and a stick. Was a truck like this ever made or am i going to talk about making this truck.
1984 Fiero se pwr windows Holley TBi, cam, 86 5spd
1987 GMC V3500 350 TBi 4spd 205 t-case

Shoulda never sold:
1976 c-10 beater 250-6 4spd no pwr steering, brakes. Recycling truck

I don't think I've ever seen a 3/4 ton stepside.

3/4T-up trucks were not available in stepside and all 3/4T trucks were Long beds.
