Difference between Vinyl/Rubber
« on: July 08, 2010, 04:49:07 pm »
What is the differences between the vinyl floor coverings and the rubber mats? Wouldnt the vinyl scratch? Any comments as Im debating between the two as carpet is more cleaning etc. than I want.

No it won't scratch.  Think of it like vinyl flooring.  I can send you a small sample of it if you email your address.

The vinyl stuff I sell ACC, is molded to the floor so fit is just like carpet.  It also comes a little oversize and no holes so you can make the tolerances tighter.  I had had rubber mats that didn't last over a few years of use, like 5.  I sold one to someone and it still was in one piece after 10, but he also was meticulous, so...  Easy to clean, I would have to say vinyl.
