front tires
« on: September 07, 2010, 05:10:00 am »
i have 35" 12.5 by 15" wheels and tires on my truck and in the front, the end of the tie rod is rubing on the wheel weights on both sides.  i know the front is 2" wider than the back already, and is it wise to put a spacer in there to stop the rubbing.  Or if i put like a half inch spacer in the front should i put a 2" spacer on the  back.

you should have changed rims but spacers should work but if its rubbing now and you add only 1/2 then if you take a turn the tire might just roll just a tad enough to rub again
